Lisa Cellucci
Lisa Cellucci is a co-founder of the Water Bearer Collective, bringing to the community a holistic coaching philosophy shaped by more than 26 years of leadership at the University of Iowa. As the head coach of Iowa Field Hockey, Lisa has guided the Hawkeyes to consistent national prominence, including seven straight NCAA Tournament appearances, four Elite Eight berths, and a Final Four. Her teams have been ranked in the top 15 nationally for 105 consecutive polls dating back to 2016, and under her guidance, Iowa ascended to the No. 1 national ranking in 2021, 2022, and 2023. She has led the Hawkeyes to multiple Big Ten championships and is the first coach in conference history to earn three straight Big Ten Coach of the Year honors.
Before coaching, Lisa was one of the most decorated student-athletes in Hawkeye history. A three-time All American goalkeeper, she remains Iowa’s all-time saves leader and helped guide her teams to multiple Big Ten titles and NCAA Tournament runs, including a Final Four appearance. She also represented the United States as a member of the U.S. National Team, competing at the highest international level. In recognition of her impact as a player she was inducted into the Iowa Athletics Hall of Fame in August 2025.
